Refund & Return Policy

At Threaded by the Books, every keepsake is thoughtfully and individually handmade just for you. Because our products are custom-made using your personal clothing, textiles, and requested designs, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on custom orders.

Once an order has been placed and work has begun, the materials and time required to create your one-of-a-kind keepsake are committed specifically to your project. Since custom items cannot be resold, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds due to changes of mind, incorrect selections, or dissatisfaction with the finished design.

If a refund is offered in certain circumstances, it will be issued as store credit.

Customer-Provided Items

For projects using customer-provided clothing or textiles, please carefully review your order details before submitting your items. We are not responsible for sentimental items that are damaged, stained, weakened, or otherwise unsuitable for the requested project due to their existing condition.

We will do our best to work with the materials provided and preserve them with care. However, because fabrics can vary in age, condition, thickness, stretch, and durability, Threaded by the Books cannot guarantee that every portion of a submitted item will be usable or that every requested design can be completed exactly as envisioned.

Design & Handmade Variations

Our keepsakes are handmade and may contain slight variations in stitching, placement, color, sizing, or overall appearance. These natural variations are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

We will make every reasonable effort to create your keepsake according to the details agreed upon at the time of ordering. Once production has begun, design changes may not be possible.

Errors or Defects

While all sales are final, we want you to be happy with your keepsake. If you believe your finished item has a manufacturing defect or an error on our part, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide clear photos and a description of the concern.

We will review the issue and, when appropriate, work with you on a reasonable solution, which may include a repair or remake at our discretion.

By Placing an Order

By placing an order with Threaded by the Books, you acknowledge that:

  • Your item is custom-made specifically for you.
  • Custom orders cannot be resold.
  • All sales are final.
  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be provided for change of mind, incorrect selections, or other circumstances unrelated to a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
  • You have reviewed and approved your order details before production begins.
  • You understand that handmade items may have minor variations.
